About JkidLA
JkidLA - Increasing Access
JkidLA is a web resource of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Greater Los Angeles (BJE), an agency of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, and is funded through a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation. Launched in 2006, this website was designed to provide one place where families could get a comprehensive listing of the myriad of Jewish educational opportunities and resources in Los Angeles. Why you ask?

There are so many ways to raise a Jewish child in Los Angeles that it can be hard to decide where to begin. Whether it happens in a Parent and Me program, in school, camp, or even a weekend activity, having resources to help you decide and know where to look is key. Our interactive website features a sophisticated search engine to help you with your search.

In addition, you have the opportunity to sign-up for age and geographically appropriate event e-blasts, where you can receive information about fun and engaging activities for your child or the whole family. For those wanting more personal guidance, connect in-person with our Concierges, Debra and Rachel, for additional dialogue and support.

JkidLAs and the Concierge Program support the mission of the BJE which is to enhance quality, increase access, and encourage participation in Jewish education. The BJE operates throughout the Jewish communities of Greater Los Angeles, independently and by collaborating with schools and other community institutions as an advocate, planner, catalyst, and creative leader for strengthening and advancing Jewish learning, with special emphasis on children and youth, early childhood through high school, their educators and parents.

For additional questions, information or personal assistance, please contact Debra Markovic or Rachel Donitz Kaplan. All information or requests submitted through the website or in person are kept private and confidential.
